Our mission

Keep production moving with conveyors that fit the job, and are simple to keep running.

That means designing for the belt change and the service call as carefully as for the first day of running, and working through each application with the people who’ll live with it.

Our story

It started with conveyors that needed too much attention.

The full timeline
  1. 01The problem

Downtime that came from the design

Charles Mitchell kept seeing the same thing in everyday production: conveyors that needed constant attention and frequent belt replacements. Every stop cost the business using them time and money.

The belts weren’t the real problem. The engineering decisions behind them were.

  2. 02The answer

Design the maintenance in from the start

He founded Conveyor Technologies in Milford, Ohio to change those decisions. The result is one patented modular concept, where components interchange between conveyor types and share the same drives and accessories.

Sealed bearings that need no routine relubrication. Belt calibration gauges on each side. Belt-release arrangements that make changing a belt a short, planned job instead of a teardown.

  3. 03Today

Family-led, and close to the work

Anthony Mitchell now leads the company, bringing sales and engineering together. He works directly with customers on system design and troubleshooting.

We design and configure new conveyors, and support the ones already running.

What we stand for

Four commitments, built into the equipment.

Each one shows up in how our conveyors are designed, supplied and supported.

  • Built to be maintained

A conveyor is only as good as the next belt change. We design for service access and simple maintenance from the first drawing.

    • Sealed, lubricated-for-life bearings
    • Belt calibration gauges and belt-release arrangements
    • AccuVision belt change in two minutes on our open stand
    Belt tensioning and removal
  • One modular system

Every low-profile conveyor is built on the same modular concept, so components interchange between conveyor types and share standard drives and accessories.

    • 14 conveyor products on one patented concept
    • 7 drive arrangements, placed where the machine has room
    • Side guides and stands that fit the same system
    Compare conveyors
  • Start with the job

No model number or specification needed. We start with the part, the space and what happens next, and design the conveyor from there.
